Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)

LED Electric and Lighting Contractors, LLC is certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in accordance with federal regulations 49 CFR part 26 with the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) and the Texas Unified Certification Program (TUCP) and is eligible to bid on federally assisted contracts statewide.

The Texas Unified Certification Program (TUCP) includes the City of Austin, Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority, City of Houston, North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency, and South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency.

Historically Underutilized Business (HUB)

LED Electric and Lighting Contractors, LLC has also successfully met the established requirements of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) Statewide Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) program and is certified as a HUB.

A Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) is a for profit entity that has not exceeded the size standards prescribed by 34 TAC part 20.23, has its principal place of business in Texas and is at least 51% owned by an Asian Pacific American, Black American, Hispanic American, Native American, American woman and/or Service Disabled Veteran who resides in Texas and actively participates in the control, operations and management of the entity’s affairs.
